Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 May 2026

These terms govern your use of this website and your purchases from Michael Hope. By placing an order, you agree to them.

1. About us

Michael Hope is a UK clothing label. For any question about these terms, email ant@michaelhopeclothing.com.

2. Orders

Submitting an order on this website is an offer to buy. Your contract with us is formed when we accept the order — usually when we email you to confirm dispatch. We may decline an order if a product is out of stock, if a pricing error has occurred, or if we suspect fraud. If we decline, we refund any payment in full.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are added at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of purchase via Stripe.

4. Delivery

See the Shipping page for current rates and timescales. Risk passes to you on delivery.

5. Cancellations and returns

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have 14 days from receipt to cancel an order without giving a reason. Items must be unworn, unwashed and with original tags attached. You're responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty. We refund within 14 days of receiving the returned item. See the Returns page for the full process.

6. Faulty goods

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If anything's faulty, email us and we'll arrange a refund or replacement at no cost to you.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death, personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything that cannot be limited under UK law. Otherwise our liability for any single order is limited to the price you paid for that order.

8. Intellectual property

All designs, photography, and copy on this website belong to us. You may share images on social media for non-commercial purposes; please don't reuse them for resale or advertising without permission.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes may be brought before the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Orders are governed by the version in force at the time you placed them.
